Specspotting: The World Will Know

What's the main action or dialog going on in the scene?
What is Specs doing?
Picture
Racetrack: Come on, it's a rigged deck. They got all the marbles. Above Skittery's head you can see his pants.

Picture Unavailable

Racetrack:  Jack, you done thinking yet? This times his pants are right above Racetrack's head

Picture Unavailable

Racetrack: What are you out of your mind? The aforementioned pants are above Skittery's head again.

Picture Unavailable

David:  Jack, I was only joking. We can't go on strike, we don't have a union. Now the pants are above David's head.

Picture Unavailable

David:  No we're just a bunch of angry kids with no money.  Maybe if we get every nesie in New York, but... We like Specs' pants. They again reside above David's head.

Picture Unavailable

Jack:  We get all the newsies in New York together.
David: Jack this isn't a joke. You saw what happened to those trolley workers
He's in the upper right hand corner of the screen standing on something.  Near the end of this dialogue he decides to get down from the perch from which we examined his pants so thoroughly.

Picture Unavailable

David:  You can't just rush everybody into this. He's walking in the group of people near the center of the screen.

Picture Unavailable

Jack:  Pulitzer and Hearst, they think we're nothing. Are we nothing?
Newsies: NO!
He's in the bottom right hand corner of the screen shouting NO!

Picture Unavailable

Boots:  What's to stop somebody else from selling our papes? He's standing next to Boots.

Picture Unavailable

David: No! We can't beat up kids in the street. It'll give us a bad name. He's standing next to Boots and David.

Picture Unavailable

David:  NO! He's behind David, cheering along with everyone else.

Picture Unavailable

Newsies:  And our ranks will grow! He's behind David on the left singing with his mouth really wide open.

Picture Unavailable

Jack:  When the circulation bell starts ringing. Will we hear it?
Newsies:  No!
Jack passes Specs while singing and Specs starts to follow.  Jack leaves the screen and Specs' hat is center screen during the No!

Picture Unavailable

Jack:  What if the Delancey's come out swinging.  Will we hear it?
Newsies: No!
Starts moving to the right of the group of newsies.

Picture Unavailable

Newsies: When you've got a hundred voices singing... He continues walking right.  When the shot changes he is too far right to be in it.

Picture Unavailable

Newsies:  But it ain't worth beans. He's on the far right at the end of the second row.

Picture Unavailable

Newsies:  Now they're gonna see what 'stop the presses' really means. He is at the end of the second row skipping/running away from the camera for the entire shot.

Picture Unavailable

Newsies:  And the day has come. He is now at the far end of the second row.

Picture Unavailable

The shouts of Strike! have dissolved into random shouting.  Denton passes very close to the camera. He is walking towards the building without his hat on the left of the big group.

Picture Unavailable

Jack:  We gotta get word out to all the newsies of New York.  I need some of those whatd'ja call 'em?
David: Ambassadors.
Specs walks in on the lower right without his hat on.  He puts it on as Jack is mumbling.

Picture Unavailable

Jack:  you take Queens. There is a short full frontal face shot of Specs standing next to Bumlets.  They both exit left.
